CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING PRACTICE
Who is this course for?
Many initial TEFL training courses are taken online and do not include any teaching practice. Most employers look for teachers who have an accredited level-5 TEFL certificate with a at least 6 hours supervised teaching practice. If you want to increase your chances of getting a job in TEFL , as well as keeping your learners motivated, this course is for you.
This course is aimed at teachers who have a theoretical base, but would like to enhance their employability in this area of ELT, improve their practical classroom skills, and gather ideas for teaching a range of EFLclasses.
What will you learn?
Breakdown of the course:
- Review the main lesson planning models for teaching productive and receptive skills – 2 hours
- Assist experienced teachers – 3 hours
- Supervised lesson planning – 6 hours.
- Teach real students of different ages (in-person or online – all your lessons are observed by an experienced trainer) – 6 hours
- Feedback on your teaching practice – 3 hours.
- You will also learn how to market yourself as a teacher!
